December 2025 Update
We're excited to share some powerful new features that give you even more creative control over your photos. This update focuses on making watermark styling easier and giving you finer control over film simulation effects.
New Watermark Presets
Choosing the right watermark style is now faster than ever. We've added 6 ready-to-use presets that you can apply with a single tap:

The Signature Preset
Perfect for social media creators! The Signature preset lets you add your username or handle alongside your camera information. Great for building your personal brand while still showcasing your gear.
Film Strength Slider
You asked for more control over film presets, and we delivered. The new Film Strength slider lets you dial in exactly how much of the film look you want:
- 0% - Your original photo, untouched
- 50% - A subtle, blended look
- 100% - Full film simulation effect
This gives you the flexibility to go subtle with a gentle color grade or go bold with the full film aesthetic. Find the sweet spot that works for each photo.
Standalone Grain Control
While each film preset includes its own grain setting, you can now override it with the new Grain selector. Choose from 4 levels:
- None - Clean, grain-free images
- Low - Subtle texture, barely visible
- Mid - Noticeable organic grain
- High - Bold, prominent film texture
This means you can:
- Add grain to photos without using a film preset
- Override a preset's default grain with your preferred level
- Go grain-free even when using a preset that includes it
How to Try These Features
- Upload your photo to SHOTON APP
- Click Watermark to explore the new presets
- Click Film Preset and use the strength slider
- Try different grain levels with the Grain selector
- Export your creation!
