5 New Film Presets
We've added five new film simulation presets, each modelled on a specific real film stock or shooting situation. They sit alongside the existing lineup and are available immediately in the editor and Camera Mode.
The New Presets
Kodak Disposable
Inspired by the Kodak FunSaver and UltraMax 400 loaded into cheap disposable cameras. Warm, punchy, slightly lifted shadows with a faint green bias — the look that defined a generation of party photos and travel snapshots. Grain is organic and mid-weight.
Best for: Casual portraits, outdoor snapshots, anything that should feel candid.
Fuji Quicksnap
The Fujifilm Quicksnap's distinct character: cooler and cleaner than Kodak disposables, with punchy blues, good whites, and a subtle green-cool shadow cast. Less warmth, more precision — still unmistakably a disposable.
Best for: Daylight shoots, blue skies, anything where you want that clean Fuji coolness without going full cross-process.
Cinestill 800T
Cinestill 800T is motion picture film (Kodak Vision 500T) stripped of its remjet layer for still camera use. The result is smooth shadows with a magenta cast, warm red halation bleeding around highlights, and a natural desaturation. High grain, cinematic feel.
Best for: Night photography, portraits under artificial light, moody urban scenes.
Ilford HP5+
A full black-and-white conversion modelled on Ilford HP5+ — one of the most-used panchromatic films ever made. Wide exposure latitude, punchy midtones, strong shadow contrast, and distinctly film-like grain. No colour, no frills.
Best for: Street photography, documentary work, portraiture, any scene that doesn't need colour.
Expired Film
Aged or expired film stock loses dye sensitivity unevenly over time, producing fogged shadows, a heavy orange-green cast, reduced contrast, and unpredictable grain. This preset recreates that degraded, time-worn aesthetic.
Best for: Artistic and editorial work, lo-fi aesthetics, anywhere you want something that looks genuinely aged rather than just filtered.
